Carach Angren is a Horror metal band from Landgraaf, Maastricht, Limburg the Netherlands, formed in 2003 by two members of the now defunct bands Inger Indolia and Vaultage, and with you Ardek and Seregor only two steady members after drummer Ivo “Namtar” Wijers quit the group in February 2020, with previously frequent guest appearances for the violin parts.

CARACH ANGREN set out to tell ghost-stories and combining a dark baroque style of metal with horror based lyrical concepts, and among the year since the band formation with great album like:

The new anticipated Carach Angren studio album “Franckensteina Strataemontanus” was released on June 26th 2020! On this album the band resurrect the gruesome story of troubled soul “Conrad Dippel”; the inspiration of Mary Shelly’s novel “Frankenstein”, this is going to be the bands 6th studio album so far and Carch Angren are known for its lyrics related to legends and myths dwelling into horror stories and with this new album is no exceptions.

The Dutch horror outfit “CARACH ANGREN” brought forth their latest album based on horrible abominations: ‘Franckensteina Strataemontanus‘. It is the band’s sixth album and it revolves around the grim storylines of the English author Mary Shelly. The classic tale of Frankenstein is a gothic novel written in 1818 and it’s about an alchemist who brought forth a spirit from the realms of death and became terrified by his own experiment.
