Continues to unzip my shell
I find comfort in that I can’t feel
The fissures of my skull disintegrate
Cerebellum affected first disables my sense of balance
Occipital lobe shredded to render me completely blind
Parietal lobes replaced with a necrotic gel
Viciously spinning internal abyss
No sight to my eyes
Sensations amiss

Grasping at air to hold myself still
My martyrs purpose was not to kill
I hear language, that I don’t understand
I feel pain, that I can’t understand
